Protect Your Investment

Camelot offers a range of covers ideal for covering up all of your outdoor furniture, BBQ’s Parasols, Benches etc when they are not in use. Using one of our covers prolongs the life of your purchase and makes it look newer and it will last a lot longer than without covering it up.

There are 24 covers in our range (see covers page) each with a re-useable carry/storage bag.

Your cover will protect from UV damage, rain damage, pollution, frost damage, bird fouling, dirt & grime and falling sap.

In order to keep your furniture in good condition please also follow the guidelines set out below:

General Guidelines:

Clean the product(s) on a regular basis with a damp cloth to remove any dirt and grime. Check all bolts are tight and secure on a monthly basis during use. Ensure any scratches are touched up to ensure that exposed steel under the scratch is not left open to the elements.

Always cover your items in bad weather and store them away during the winter months if possible.

Looking after your product(s):

Gazebos

Do not leave out in windy conditions. In heavy wind or rain remove the canopy, nets and curtains if possible - do not allow any rainfall to settle on the top of your roof as this will stretch the canopy. During the winter months it is best to dismantle your Gazebo if it is an Easy up or - semi permanent structure.

Parasols

Do not leave out in windy or rain conditions to avoid tipping or damage. Always be aware when the parasol is open and unattended even on a summers day the slightest gust of wind can cause damage.

On the cantilever parasols we recommend that a Camelot cover is used to cover the parasol at the end of every days use. Always use a heavy base weight to house your parasol.

Folding Chairs

Always fold away any chairs when not in use - especially steel framed chairs although the fabric can be all-weather Textaline steel will eventually rust. Aluminum chairs will not rust but use the same rule when not in use - store or cover them away.

Hammocks

Always remove the canopy in severe weather conditions, if it is to be left outside always ensure that the canopy is adjusted and tilted so that no build up of rain or snow can settle on the top of it, the same applies too if it is windy as heavy gusts can blow from underneath your canopy and damage the canopy components. Remove cushions when not in use and always cover your hammock when not in use.

Occasional Furniture

The majority of our tea for two/ four sets fold down completely although this can be a burden to keep storing away in bad weather. To keep your set looking good at all times always, remove any excess water from the top of chairs or table and do not let water settle. Always cover up your furniture with one of our tailor made covers especially in the winter months.

General Warnings

In severe rain, water may be able to enter your product, this may cause a build up which can penetrate the bolts and cause them to rust. If the product is steel the same will occur on the inside of the tubular steel. After prolonged rain take care when moving your furniture as rust coloured water can build up inside and can escape and stain your clothes and your patio.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage incurred in severe weather conditions particularly with gazebos, hammocks and parasols please refer to your instruction manual.

When storing away canopies or cushions etc please ensure that they are stored in dry conditions and ensure they are fully dry before storing away.

Materials will fade with exposure to the elements, and parts will degrade over time.
